
- The Project Manager or Admin team member will be required to go to enter in the Fee/Budget Plan in for staff to book time against the project.
- Below is the window's default setting for a project before a structure has been created. After a structure has been created for a project the Fee Plan Wizard window, it will default to the project's Workstage Overview window where the information can be amended.

Enter as much information as you can, utilising the dropdown menus where necessary:
- Project Currency: This is the currency that the project will be run in. e.g. GBP £, EUR € etc.
- Fee Mode: Define how the fee will be paid from the dropdown list and enter the fee details in the appropriate fields.
- Lump Sum Fee - Put in a value for Total fee
- % Of Total Project Value - Must enter the total project value and the percentage of this value that the fees will be calculated on to display the Total Fee.
- Start Date: This is the approximate start date of activities for the project. Click anywhere in the open text field to select the date from the calendar popup.
- Duration: The approximate total duration of activities on this project. You can specify the duration in either days, weeks or months.
- Workstage Template: Here you choose one of the pre-defined templates that help provide a starting point for a project. Choose the template that describes the desired structure for the project. For more information see the Workstage Template quick guide.
- Labour plan mode: Displays if resourcing can go down to a Week or Monthly level of accuracy.
- The details will enable you to produce an outline plan that can be used for your Fee Quote calculations. At this early stage of the enquiry project, your best guess will be sufficient for the Fee information. This can be changed once the project progresses and exact details have been confirmed.
- If the project is set up as a ‘Lead’ or as a ‘Fee Proposal’, It is necessary to assess what is the likelihood of the project moving on to be a Contract. The Project Manager must allocate a % Probability range from confirmed (100%), Very High (90%), High (75%), Medium (50%). Low/Medium (25%), Low (10%), Very Low (5%), Lost (0%).
- It is possible to archive this plan once the project changes to ‘Active’. You will then have a record of the original plan created and can compare it to the actual plan from when the project goes live.
