• The Workstage template will be selected by the Project Manager when requesting a project number. This template determines the rate and characteristics at which the fees are earned over the project life cycle.
  • Create a Basic or Standard Workstage Template and manually add additional
    Workstage’s by clicking the ‘Add New Workstage’ on the Projects- Fee/Budget Plan- Work Stages Screen:
     
  • It is necessary to select a % fee and % duration for each Workstage selected. The total % fee and % duration of all these Workstage’s must add up to 100%.
  • These can be updated manually within the project Fee/Budget Plan once set up.
  • Once all the Fee Plan Wizard details are complete, a fee plan will be created based on this information. This will bring you into the ‘Workstage’s’ Tab where you will be able to view your default plan and make changes as required.
  • As well as manually adding Workstage’s you can add in more Workstage’s from an existing template. You can add these additional Workstage’s by selecting the ‘Workstage Templates’ icon on the top screen:
  • Then choose the template that you are interested in:
  • The template will then be displayed:
  • You should not adjust the Workstage’s here, just select the ‘Insert This Template into The Project’ option which will cause the Workstage’s to go through to your project:
  • You can now delete any Workstage. You can also edit other information such as: change the dates, probabilities (which indicate the likelihood of work being won) and statuses.
