Access to the holiday admin consoles is locked down in the Control Panel (Home > Leave Booking).

Leave Template Console

  • Public holidays are no longer managed at Branch level – this means you no longer have to maintain duplicate public holidays across more than one branch. For example, you could have one leave template for all users in the same country.

  • Public holiday wizard:
  • Import public holidays for a wide range of countries and holiday years with a few clicks. Copy template:
  • Quickly copy an existing leave template if you want to create a variation for a different group of users (e.g., UK Fee earners, Admin staff).
  • Most clients will only ever need one leave template, but the flexibility is there if you need it.
  • Create/edit absence days by clicking on the calendar. You can quickly add Public Holidays, Bonus, Mandatory and Reserved days. It is now possible to add half days – e.g., an early closing bonus day on Christmas Eve. Any changes will be automatically reflected in timesheets and on leave booking calendars.
  • A default leave template has already been created automatically and assigned to users, based on your existing branch and public holiday settings.

Holiday Adjustment Console

  • Set holiday carry over for staff by Leave Template…
  • Auto populate carry over:
  • Enter the default number of carry over days and apply in bulk (subject to remaining leave). You can overwrite the adjustments for individual users.

Career History

  • An employee’s Leave Template is now displayed in the career history.
  • This is selected when a user is created, or when a new career history record is created. If a user changes Leave Template, their timesheets and leave calendar are automatically updated
