Cancelling or Amending Leave

If you wish to make an amendment to an existing leave booking, either pending or approved, you must first cancel the original booking request then re-enter the revised leave details and submit it as a totally new booking request for approval.

  • Access the Home > Leave Booking window.
  • Click on the period of leave you wish to amend to display the edit item dialog.
  • Click  to cancel the existing leave booking.
  • You can now enter your amended leave booking details as a new request and send them for approval.

Re-submitting a Rejected Leave Request

If a request for leave has been rejected, you may be able to re-submit the rejected request for approval by providing further leave description details as required. 

  • Access the Home > Leaving Booking window.
  • Click on the rejected leave booking on the calendar (indicated by vertical bars ) to display the edit records dialog with the approver’s reasons for rejection indicated:

  • Enter (or edit existing) details in the Leave Description field to help support your leave booking request.
  • Click  to save and re-submit the leave booking request for approval.
  • When prompted click OK to confirm. The leave booking request has been re-submitted for approval.
